Each Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) offers comprehensive care to children and adults (unless otherwise noted) with all types of bleeding disorders including Hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease. By combining a multidisciplinary, coordinated approach with education and support, the HTCs ensure the best outcome possible for patients.
HTCs offer a broad range of services to help coordinate the many needs of patients including access to the following:
- Hematologists (physicians specializing in blood)
- Orthopedists (physicians specializing in bones, joints, and muscles)
- Nurses
- Physical Therapists
- Social Workers
- Other Specialists by referral as needed (Dentists/Nutritionist/Genetic Counselor)
