On Thursday, November 9, 2023, several members of New York Blood Center Enterprise’s senior leadership team attended the Westchester County Association’s (WCA) Impact in Action – A Night to Celebrate Exceptional Leaders event.
Every year, the WCA recognizes a few organizations that contribute positively to our community, both in terms of economic development and quality of life. Dr. Hillyer and New York Blood Center were presented with a leadership award by Michael N. Romita, the WCA President and CEO, and Amy J. Allen, the WCA Vice President, after they were impressed by the NYBCe’s groundbreaking ceremony and tour of the upcoming Rye campus. This annual event is attended by over 400 leaders from various fields, including business, healthcare, and nonprofit communities.
